Following a growth in their estate which included a number of new hotels with on-site leisure clubs, Jurys Inn Group Ltd have recently awarded 3d leisure a contract to manage their hotel health clubs.

The hotel chain hit headlines in January this year when it was bought out by American hotel chain Lone Star, who purchased 29 Jurys Inn hotels throughout the UK as part of a ÂŁ680 million deal.

Now, following plans for a “super group” of hotels which commenced over the summer, which will see 89 hotels coming together under the Amaris name, Jurys Inn is upgrading its leisure services. The new contract began in November this year and will see 3d leisure initially managing six hotel leisure clubs, a figure which is set to increase over the coming months.

Paul Ramsay, Operations Manager at 3d leisure, said: “We have managed four of these sites for a number of years under an agreement with the previous owners. We are delighted that Jurys Inn have decided to retain our services for these clubs and extend the agreement to include the further two sites.”

The leisure management and consultancy company has commenced the contract by overseeing a re-brand of the former Otium leisure clubs to create the Juvenate group.
