On Saturday 9th December our team from 3d Health & Fitness, Chandlers Ford held their annual 5k Santa run for Sophie’s Appeal. Sophie’s Appeal is a local charity which raises money for children diagnosed with cancer in order to support their families, provide additional resources for treatment and help towards further research.
A record 103 Santa’s took part (not to mention 6 dogs!) and we managed to raise a staggering £2713 through entry fees, a raffle and a quiz night.
Sophie’s Appeal fully supported us on the day and they did a fantastic job volunteering to help marshal and clean up the mess afterwards.
The whole event was organised by club receptionist, Kelly Griffiths, who did a marvellous job in pulling everything together!
