As part of its ongoing commitment to further its service package, facility management contractor 3d leisure is investing in the latest gym craze – the “micro gym.”

Working with London-based brand W10 Performance Limited, the two companies will work together to bring about a more personal feel to exercising. The micro gym concept involves personal training as part of the full membership package, with members enjoying either one-on-one training sessions or exercising as part of small groups with up to three people.

Mark Bremner, one of the Managing Directors at 3d, has been appointed as Director of the business, and he will join forces with founder Jean-Claude Vacassin, who has been running W10 Performance from Ladbroke Grove since 2013.

A second site, which is said to have seen “encouraging sales” since its launch, was recently opened in London’s City Road. Plans have already been put in place for a further two sites, and the team are looking into branching out into further locations in the near future.

With such a promising market for highly qualified personal trainers, things are looking optimistic for 3d and W10. Vacassin said: “We are really excited about developing our unique service offer at another London location and we are confident that our-results based culture is appealing to members in a saturated health club market.”
