Throughout the weekend of 28th and 29th November, 3d leisure hosted a charity weekend to help raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Support UK. The event, which was held online via the ‘3d leisure @ home’ Facebook page saw the company come together for a 12-hour live class-a-thon on Saturday 28thNovember. Instructors gave up their time to run the sessions virtually, and all dressed in pink for the occasion.

The Sunday saw lots of information posts to help raise awareness, and two very special live talks with 3d staff who are currently experiencing breast cancer in their own personal lives. These talks allowed the audience to interact and ask questions, whilst also learning about the daily scenarios the two brave ladies encounter.

The weekend as a whole proved to be a huge success with video views of well over 30,000, and in excess of £2k raised for the charity.

With the majority of staff returning to work from Wednesday, the weekend was a fitting way of ending the English second lockdown, whilst also raising awareness for a condition close to the hearts of many in the company.
