Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

As part of launching our new employee benefits programme in December we given all colleagues access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which gives them 24-hour access to confidential support, professional advice and short-term counselling. The aim is to help them deal with personal and work-related problems that are impacting their physical and mental well-being.

We have chosen Carefirst to provide this service as they have a long-standing reputation for providing market leading, comprehensive, effective EAP solutions.

They have designed a bespoke solution which meets our specific and unique requirements, to provide the best possible support and advice to our staff, including:

  • 24/7 Telephone helplines (counselling, legal information, and advice)
  • Face to face counselling with accredited professionals
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Legal advice and support
  • Management support and referral
  • Health & wellbeing apps
  • Mediation services

The project was led by Leah Howells, Human Resources Manager, who commented ‘We are thrilled to announce a significant addition to our employee benefits and rewards package, our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
In our ongoing commitment to nurture a workplace that not only values professional growth but also prioritises staff health and well-being, we understand the importance of providing comprehensive support. The EAP is our latest endeavour to reinforce this commitment and strengthen the foundation of our 3d family.

The EAP is available to all our staff, designed to offer invaluable support in various aspects of their personal and professional lives.
We believe that a healthy and happy workforce is the backbone of our success, and the introduction of this program is a significant step towards further ensuring their overall well-being. Through providing such support, we aim to see a positive impact on employee health, well-being, satisfaction, and engagement. We anticipate a decrease in sickness rates, an upswing in morale, and a boost to our company culture. After all, a flourishing workplace is one where every member feels supported and valued.
