Through our subsidiary company, MBody Leisure Management, 3d offers design, delivery and management services for sports and leisure facilities in the educational sector.
MBody was established in 2007 to respond to the increasing demand for high quality sport and leisure provision in schools. We recognise that schools have an important role to play in their local communities and that access to high quality facilities outside of school hours should be encouraged.
Combining years of experience in sports and leisure management and consultancy, with an in-depth knowledge of education, MBody offers its clients a unique sports and leisure service. This service is anchored around the goal of encouraging personal fitness and promoting healthier lifestyles to develop self-esteem and confidence ultimately resulting in a higher participation in individual and team sports. This can be achieved both through the school's curriculum and ensuring the appropriate infrastructure is in place to enable access to facilities outside of the schools day.
Our team has extensive experience of working with both the private and public sector. For example, we work directly with the staff of existing schools to explore opportunities for enhancing current leisure facilities. In addition, as part of the Government's Building Schools for the Future programme and other similar type PFI projects, we work with private sector companies to help create innovative solutions for new-build and refurbished schools.
Where individual projects allow and a viable business case exists, we also look to further enhance facilities by contributing external capital.
