Wellness 360 - Complete living
We offer our corporate clients a comprehensive 360 degree fitness and wellness service that aims to educate, motivate and activate all employees to have a healthier lifestyle that will have real positive outcomes both for the individual and the employer.
1. Assessment
Our assessments are offered at various levels:
1.1 Desktop lifestyle assessment
This is a quick and simple questionnaire that measures various lifestyle behaviours carried out at an employees work station computer. The reports produced are a great tool for raising awareness and a start for motivating health behaviour change.
1.2 Fitness testing
A physical test that measures key areas of fitness with easy to read results presented in a graphical format with summary text and personalised advice.
As well as personalised reports we can produce group reports which give averages and allows us to measure and monitor performance over time with any group of employees.
The results are used to agree targets and goal setting with individuals and help our team to create effective programmes to get results.
1.3 Health Check
Our Health Check includes blood tests for cholesterol and glucose and also allows a cardiac risk assessment to be made.
2. Activity
2.1 Fitness Centre
The focal point for activity is the fitness centre.
After individuals have taken an assessment they will be prescribed an activity and exercise programme in a personalised Plan. Our team will then be available to offer instruction and motivate all members to stay on the plan and achieve their individual goals.
We will create a variety of on-going challenges and gym games to help promote a fun atmosphere in the fitness centre and we offer incentive prizes and gifts to motivate members to be active and achieve their goals.
2.2 Exercise to music classes
Delivered by the onsite team and external instructors a varied and exciting timetable of classes will be created utilising the facilities available.
From high adrenaline and high impact classes to more sedate yoga and Pilates sessions there will be a class for all. A booking system manages numbers for safety and we monitor all classes’ attendance to ensure we adapt and evolve the timetable.
2.3 Personal Training (PT)
In addition to our fitness centre management we offer a PT service that gives members a workout one on one with a Personal Trainer. The PT offer is managed closely to ensure it does not impact on the core service and is delivered by suitably qualified Trainers.
2.4 Out of centre activities
As well as offering exercise in the fitness centre we aim to develop activity using any external facility available for example Boot Camps and British Military style classes on grass areas.
If not already established we would seek to set up activity clubs for: Running, cycling, football, netball and work with Club leaders to promote and develop participation.
We will identify local providers of other sporting facilities and establish links with these providers and partner with them to develop beneficial partnership arrangements for employees.
2.5 Event management
We are able to create and manage a range of events that could include team building exercises and various sports tournaments either internally or with other participants.
3. Health Promotion
We have a comprehensive library of fitness, health and wellbeing articles covering a wide range of issues. We are constantly updating the library with fresh and relevant material.
We would propose that we develop an annual health promotion Communication plan that will target key areas on a monthly basis. Some of these topics will be linked to government sponsored national campaigns and wherever possible we partner with other agencies to develop the theme and assist in communication with National Awareness Days.
The information content can be delivered to employees across the organisation in a number of ways.
We can use the company’s existing intranet and also a variety of outreach ideas including:
- Posters and leaflets
In the fitness centre and other key locations - Text and email
On an opt in basis only - Health Fairs and Exhibitions
Where we can showcase health and fitness topics and healthy living plans - Seminars
Our team will be able to make presentations to employees in pre-arranged sessions.
4. Nutrition
Eating well is a fundamental element of the wellness mix and an issue where are Fitness and Wellness Advisors focus a lot of effort.
Many people joining the Fitness Centre will identify weight loss as their key objective and as well as prescribing exercise and activity, part of the individuals health programme will include advice on healthy eating and calorie control. We will advise all employees on their eating behaviour and habits and promote healthy eating on an on-going basis.
Where catering services are contracted to a 3rd party contractor we will partner with that provider to develop with them a healthy eating at work programme and jointly provide other nutritional information to allow employees to make the right eating choices.
At certain times e.g. New Year we will promote a Weight management course over 6 weeks to attract people to take up the programme and achieve immediate results. We will then aim to develop attitudes and modify behaviour for individuals to establish regular weight management control.
5. Therapy
We will develop and manage a range of external therapists to provide various services to employees.
Therapies offered could be:
- Beauty
- Physiotherapy
- Sports Massage
- Chiropractors
- Complimentary Therapies ( e.g. Rake)
Therapists would offer and promote their services to employees and our team will work with the providers to develop the service. Our team would manage all the bookings and administration of the service. Employees would pay for the treatments they have.
As the treatment service is provided by independent therapists we will ensure that they are suitably qualified and we have a standard hire agreement that can be adapted for 3rd party hirers.
6. Mind
Getting the team to perform at their best will be a key objective of management and some staff may be underperforming because of bad health, lack of self-belief, bad habits, and negative attitudes. These employees we can make happier and healthier to perform better at their jobs.
We have developed a Corporate Athlete programme that can be offered to all employees. Based on Nero Linguistic Programming the course is delivered over 4 weeks in 1 hour sessions.
We work with individuals to challenge their health values, release limiting beliefs, change bad habits and remove negative attitudes putting strong values, new rituals and positive emotions in their place.
The course empowers people to face life and work challenges with renewed vigour, energy and passion.
7. Rewards Scheme
We have developed a network of health and fitness clubs around the country who are prepared to offer employees of your organisation a discount off their normal membership fees.
This discount can be offered to all employees who perhaps work remotely from the main office.
We also make available other discount offers for all employees across a range of health and fitness products from national suppliers.
We will aim to develop other discount arrangements with local suppliers of related products and services all of which is promoted in our Rewards Scheme.
